Cascade Vascular Associates uses state-of-the-art diagnostic ultrasound equipment to evaluate arteries and veins, converting sound waves into a visual picture for the identification of arterial or venous disorders. This helps determine the extent of the tissue involvement and which methods of treatment would be most beneficial for your condition - from the most serious of disfigurement to the smaller spider veins.

Cascade Vascular Associates physicians specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of Arterial and Venous Disorders of the peripheral vascular system. Both medical and surgical therapies are offered.

What's New at Cascade Vascular Associates:
    NorthWest Vein Center

We, at Cascade Vascular Associates are pleased to announce the opening of our new center for the treatment of venous diseases - NorthWest Vein Center.

Venous disorders are very common. They not only cause pain, disability, and millions of dollars in health care cost, but also negatively impact the quality of life in afflicted individuals. Recent advances in the treatment of venous diseases have made it possible to offer many patients with leg pain, swelling, and varicose veins a minimally invasive alternative to the traditional conservative treatment or invasive surgery. In the past, correcting the incompetent greater saphenous vein required general anesthesia and a postoperative convalescence often lasting 2-6 weeks.

Now with endovenous laser or heat ablation therapy, we are able to correct an incompetent greater saphenous vein as an outpatient procedure under local anesthesia. This new technique leaves the patient with minimal discomfort and allows the patient to return to normal activities within days.

At the NorthWest Vein Center we will be able to provide comprehensive outpatient treatment options for patients with venous disease. These will include the mentioned above laser ablation of truncal venous insufficiency, as well as sclerotherapy including foam sclerotherapy, ultrasound guided sclerotherapy, miniphlebectomy, and treatment for spider veins

    Visit our website at www.nwveins.com.

    Thanks.

The evaluation and diagnosis process is absolutely painless - free from any invasive injections or radiation.
